Mandate The HAT Parliamentary Caucus is an all party, non partisan initiative composed of Members of Parliament and Senators who are dedicated to working together to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS & TB, develop a better understanding of the challenges faced by stakeholders and organizations, and provide a forum within parliament, for the exchange and discussion of ideas and initiatives related to the needs of people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS and TB.
Membership Membership of the HAT Caucus is open to all Members of Parliament and Senators in the House of Commons. To become a Member of the HAT Caucus Members of Parliament and Senators are asked to sign the HAT Caucus Membership form. There is no cost to become a member of the HAT Caucus. The HAT Caucus was created by Member of Parliament, Dr. Ruby Dhalla and is currently co-chaired by Lois Brown (Conservative Party), Johanne Deschamps, (Bloc Québécois), Dr. Ruby Dhalla (Liberal) and Glen Thibeault (New Democrat Party)
